Stork Club Smoky Rye Whiskey is a German rye whiskey. A significant portion of this whiskey matured in barrels previously used for Laphroaig Scotch whisky from the Isle of Islay, known for its distinctly peaty-smoky flavor. These undertones have also been transferred to the Smoky Rye Whiskey from Stork Club, which has been expertly blended and left to mature in American virgin oak and German Napoleon oak barrels. The result is an excellent, smoky-sweet, and complex rye whiskey that is best enjoyed neat.
