Winter wheat of the best food-grade quality is used as the basic raw material for vodka production, which guarantees the unique flavour profile of Russian Standard.

The spirit goes through up to 200 distillation processes. Russian birch charcoal filters have a catalytic function, helping to mellow the flavor and impart an aroma that eliminates harsh burnt or bitter notes in the aftertaste. The process of filtering through quartz creates static electricity that changes the texture, giving the vodka a smoother taste. Silver is also used, which is an effective antimicrobial agent to further refine the vodka.
