Description
Ron Espero Balboa is a fresh and fruity blend of rums from the Dominican Republic and Barbados, aged in ex-bourbon casks and old Nicaraguan rum barrels.
It is aged for between 8 and 12 years using the solera process. The name Balboa is a tribute to the Spanish explorer, governor and conqueror Vasco Núñez de Balboa. This explorer explored the American continent in the 16th century.
The aroma and flavour abound with notes of exotic fruits, raisins, coconut and vanilla. Herbs and spices also appear in the pleasantly sweet taste. We recommend serving at room temperature and neat.
Bottles are filled at 40 % alcohol and come in tin gift tubes.
