The distillery Centenario Internacional was established in 1969, and the Centenario 30 Years Old rum was created using the Solera system from rums, some of which are 30 years old or more. It is truly a premium product - a rum blend from the very oldest barrels that this Costa Rican distillery has in its reserves.

Decades of sophisticated aging and blending in oak barrels, some of which previously contained whiskey, some bourbon, and some even dessert wines, is reflected in the aroma of this rum gem. The taste of the rum strongly reflects 30 years of aging, and one glass is definitely not enough to uncover all the flavor layers.

Sugar cane for rum production is only locally grown and 100% hand processed. Each barrel is regularly tasted, and detailed records are kept about the flavor of the drink inside. Based on these, blending occurs.
