Pura Vida XO is a premium rum produced in Costa Rica by the French company Les Bienheureux, known by the brand El Pasador de Oro. This rum combines the rich flavours of Costa Rican terroir and meticulous craftsmanship.
It is a blend of three rum bases: pure cane juice, molasses and cane honey, which present a unique profile. The entire production process is managed on-site in Costa Rica, from cane harvesting to fermentation, distillation and initial tropical maturation in bourbon barrels.
The rum is then further aged in France in old cognac barrels, creating its distinctive character. The brand name 'Pura Vida ' reflects Costa Rica's motto, which means 'Enjoy life'.
The rum is presented in an elegant carafe with sustainable packaging made from recycled waste pulp, emphasizing luxury and eco-friendliness.
