Pura Vida XO is a premium rum produced in Costa Rica by the French company Les Bienheureux, known for the brand El Pasador de Oro. This rum combines the rich flavors of Costa Rican terroir and meticulous craftsmanship.
It is a blend of three rum bases: pure sugarcane juice, molasses, and sugarcane honey, which present a unique profile. The entire production process is carried out on-site in Costa Rica, from sugarcane harvesting to fermentation, distillation, and initial tropical aging in bourbon barrels.
The rum then ages further in France in old cognac barrels, which creates its distinctive character. The brand name “Pura Vida” reflects Costa Rica's motto, meaning “Enjoy life.”
The rum is presented in an elegant decanter with sustainable packaging made from recycled waste pulp, highlighting luxury and environmental friendliness.
