Primitivo di Manduria D.O.C. by Brunilde di Menzione is an Italian red wine from the Apulia region, specifically Manduria. Description
Primitivo from the Italian region of Manduria, with a protected designation of origin D.O.C. from the winery Brunilde di Menzione.
The grapes (100% Primitivo) are hand-picked and the must is fermented at a controlled temperature of 33 °C for 25 days. It continues to age in barriques for at least 12 months.
The wine has an intense red color with purple reflections and a bouquet of ripe fruit with spicy notes. On the palate, it is soft and structured due to aging in barrels.
We recommend serving at a temperature of 16 to 18°C.
It pairs excellently with more robust dishes – grilled meats, stews, pasta with rich sauces, and stronger cheeses. It can also pleasantly complement bitter chocolate.
