Port Askaig 2011 Single Cask
Port Askaig is a limited edition single malt peat whisky from an unknown Scottish distillery located in the Islay area. Whisky was distilled on January 25, 2011. Subsequently, she was filled into one Sherry Butt barrel, in which she matured for up to 10 years.
On December 17, 2021, it was filled into bottles without added dyes and cold filtration with 48 % alcohol content. It will engulf you with its unmistakable peat taste with tones of strawberries, vanilla and fruit. This is a limited edition Single Cask, which means that only one Sherry Butt barrel with number 301630 was produced, which can hold only about 475 to 500 l.
We recommend serving at room temperature and fantastic with a variety of desserts and fruitcakes. The bottle is contained in a very nice dark brown gift box.
