Plantation Single Vintage Barbados 2013

Discover the exclusive Barbadian 9-Year-Old blended rum Plantation Single Vintage Barbados, part of the special Vintage Collection from the limited edition Under the Sea. It is made from several Column and Pot Still molasses rums that were distilled in 2013. It comes from the world-renowned distillery West Indies.

After blending, the rum was aged for 8 years in 200-liter ex-bourbon barrels, from which it gained a pronounced spicy flavor with notes of caraway, tobacco, and sweet licorice. It was then transported to France where it matured for 1 year in 400-liter ex-cognac Ferrand casks, which imparted a fantastic fruity flavor of bananas, flowers, chocolate, and vanilla.

As is well known, the rums from the Vintage collection were crafted by Master Blender Alexander Gabriel. The rum comes in a beautiful colorful gift box, featuring various underwater creatures as well as a protected species of turtle.
