Description
Belle Epoque is one of the best and most popular prestigious cuvées in the world. This vintage reflects the best of the Chardonnay in the Côte des Blancs, and thus perfectly expresses the Perrier-Jouët style. The elegant cuvée is composed of 50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier. Champagne is known for its floral scent, which served as an inspiration for the famous bottle design depicting beautiful white anemones. Emile Gallé, one of the most important representatives of the Art Nouveau era, created the design in 1902.
The aroma is delicate and floral, hints of linden blossom and agate, sweetened with fine honey. The taste offers a fine mineral surface, tones of white peaches, pears, lime blossom and sweet almonds.
