Patridom XO Cask is a premium rum made from molasses and sugarcane sourced from the tropical climate of the Dominican Republic. After distillation, it was aged for 12 to 15 years in American and French oak barrels.
After aging, it was blended with cane sugar and bottled in half-liter bottles with a high 65% alcohol content. The name of the rum (Patridom) is a word composed of two Spanish words “patrimonio” and “dominicano,” which could be translated as Dominican heritage.
This rum is produced by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos, which boasts the title of the most sustainable distillery in the world. It produces almost no waste and is 100% energy self-sufficient.
The rum comes in a beautiful colored gift tube.
Color: mahogany with red-brown reflections
Aroma: pronounced, slightly sweet, sour, wood, coconut, honey
Taste: complex, full, butter, raisins, chocolate, spice
Finish: long, slightly spicy, bitter, plums, figs, nuts, oil
