Extremely pleasant and tasty red Italian wine Primitivo Agricolo Biologico from the wine region of Puglia, Salento. The sunshine during most of the year, combined with the absolute absence of rain during the summer and the excellent ventilation, make it possible to grow healthy grapes without having to resort to synthetic treatments.
It is a pure and especially organic wine made from the Primitivo variety, which carries a state certificate of quality and ecology according to the EHC regulation. The grapes were grown on medium textured soil. Harvesting was done in the early morning hours to prevent the high temperatures at the end of summer from negatively affecting the freshness and aroma of the wine.
Fermentation lasted 8 to 10 days at a controlled temperature of 22-24°C. The wine matured for 5 months in steel tanks and 1 month in the bottle. We recommend serving at a temperature of 18°C with game or beef dishes.
Color: ruby with violet reflections
Aroma: intense, cherries, blackberries, pepper
Taste: complex, sweet-salty, tannins, ginger
Finish: medium long, balanced, ginger, pepper
