Paololeo Primitivo di Manduria D.O.P. Passo del Cardinale
Primitivo di Manduria D.O.P. Passo del Cardinale comes from the winery Paololeo in San Donaci.
This excellent wine is made from Primitivo grapes grown from Apulian seedlings in vineyards located in the Manduria area (Taranto). The grapes, harvested in the first week of September, are pressed and then fermented in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature.
Finally, as a result of the fermentation processes, Passo del Cardinale aged for 3 months in American oak barrique barrels and 6 months in steel tanks.
Its excellent quality will surprise you with its body and balance along with a delicate elegance. We recommend serving it at a temperature of 18 °C. It pairs well with red sauces, roasted meats, cheeses, mushrooms, and game.

Aroma: intense, fruit, currants, sweet wood, coffee
Taste: dry, raisins, plums, figs, olives, grass, tannins
Finish: medium-long, acidity, cinnamon, grapes, jam, spices
