Description
Primitivo di Manduria D.O.C. Paololeo is a dry, red wine made from 40-year-old Primitivo vines grown around the town of Sava, in the heart of the Salento region of Apulia, in the south of Italy. The wine is aged in barrique French oak barrels, giving it a full body and smooth texture.
Fresh, ripe flavours of dark berry fruit with nuances of wild herbs, liquorice and earthy notes are followed by a rich, full-bodied and captivating finish. Excellent with roasted red meats and mature cheeses.
We recommend decanting the wine 2 hours before serving.
