Recipe for Aperol Spritz

Ingredients:

3 parts Prosecco (or other dry sparkling wine)

2 parts Aperol or non-alcoholic version - Undone

1 part soda water / sparkling water

Ice

Orange slice for garnish

Preparation:

1. Fill a glass (preferably a large wine glass) with ice.

2. Add the Prosecco. Recommendations: Prosecco DOC Brut – fresh, dry, sparkling, suitable for mixed drinks. Extra Dry Prosecco DOC – slightly sweeter, also a popular choice. There is no need to reach for expensive Prosecco wines intended for tasting – the mid-price range is ideal for mixed drinks.

3. Add the Aperol.

4. Add a little soda water.

5. Stir gently with a spoon and garnish with a slice of orange.

6. Serve, ideally in hot weather, as a refreshing aperitif.
