Marsen Borovička

Marsen Borovička is a premium distillate made from juniper berries, crafted in a traditional way at the family distillery Marsen in Marcelová. It offers a pure, natural taste with subtle forest notes.

The distillate is created by selecting high-quality, healthy juniper berries from local orchards, which are hand-sorted and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, without air exposure.

Then, a triple distillation takes place using modern equipment, resulting in a clean and concentrated base.

After distillation, the distillate is diluted with water to 40% alcohol, and allowed to mature for several months or even years in stainless steel containers. 

The aroma of Borovička is pronounced and forest-like – you can sense juniper, pure woody notes and a touch of nature. The taste is gentle, harmonious, with an alcoholic base, without dramatic harshness, ideal as a digestif.

Marsen, founded in 2006, is known for its varietal distillates – from apricots, plums, pears, and others – awarded multiple medals at domestic and international competitions; it produces borovička in the same style – artisanally, in limited batches and without additives.
