Marsen Juniper Brandy

Marsen Juniper Brandy is a premium juniper spirit, produced using traditional methods in the family distillery Marsen in Marcelová. It has a clean, natural taste and subtle forest notes.

The spirit is made from a selection of high-quality, healthy juniper berries from local orchards, which are hand-picked and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, without access to air.

This is followed by triple distillation using modern equipment, which creates a pure and concentrated base.

After distillation, the distillate is diluted with water to 40 % alcohol and left to mature for several months or even years in stainless steel containers.

Juniper brandy has a distinctive, forest aroma with notes of juniper, clean woody tones and a touch of nature. The taste is smooth and harmonious with an alcoholic base and no harshness, making it ideal as a digestif.

Marsen, founded in 2006, is known for its varietal distillates – from apricots, plums, pears and others – and has won several medals at domestic and international competitions; it produces borovička in the same style – artisanally, in limited series and without additives.
