Le Compte Calvados 5 years old can be briefly described as a combination of vanilla and fruit. It offers light fruit tones of apples, as well as a subtle hint of wood and vanilla undertones. These come from slightly burned small French oak barrels in which it was first aged. Subsequently, however, this Pays d'Auge Calvados also matured in older oak barrels (known as "red barrels"), which helped its fruit component to fully develop and blossom into the tempting taste of a truly exceptional drink.
