La Buse dal Lôf Ghiardo
La Buse dal Lôf Ghiardo is a red dry Italian wine with a protected designation of origin. Made from varieties of 40% Refosco, 40% Schiopppettino, 20% Merlot, from the Friuli Colli Orientali region. The grapes are grown on clay-sandy soil and are hand-harvested in the first week of October. It is vinified with the skins for 20-25 days in steel tanks. The wine ages for 24 months in wood, followed by 3 months in stainless steel containers and finally in bottles.
We recommend serving chilled at a temperature of 16-18 °C. The wine pairs well with red stews, game, and aged cheeses. Residual sugar content is 3.5 g/l.
