Description
Kura the Whisky Rum Cask Finish is a unique Japanese blended malt whisky from Hokkaido. After several years of aging in American oak barrels, it is carefully blended with other single malts from the Japanese island of Okinawa. Only then does this blended whisky finish aging in barrels that previously held Japanese rum. The result is an astonishing balance between the peaty notes of the whisky and the spicy tones of Okinawan rum.
Color: terracotta reddish-brown
Aroma: moss, leaves, vanilla, barley, dried apricots
Taste: peaty-earthy hint of smoke with a touch of rum
Finish: smoky-grilled with a spicy introduction
