Irish Mist
Irish Mist Whiskey is a liqueur with a clear amber colour and a deep flavour of warm honey, creamy caramel and a smooth, delicate finish. A blend of 4-year-old whiskeys that have been triple distilled and matured in American oak casks.
Irish Mist is an Irish liqueur that was created in 1947 and is considered the first commercial liqueur produced in Ireland. It is based on mature Irish whiskey, to which honey (mainly heather and clover), herbs and spices are added. The result is a liqueur with a sweet and neatly balanced flavour – ideal for drinking on its own or as an addition to cocktails.
The aroma awakens warm tones of honey, vanilla, delicate herbs and citrus peel. The alcohol is noticeable but not dominant – the whiskey adds depth and character.
The taste is sweet and smooth, with a distinct presence of honey, a touch of caramel and vanilla, passing through delicate spicy accents (cinnamon, cloves) and dried fruit. Although the liqueur is relatively sweet, it has a balanced structure – the whiskey character leaves a feeling of depth.
We recommend serving it neat or with ice. It is also suitable for adding to Irish coffee, cocktails, or mixing with cola or tonic. It can also be served as an aperitif or digestif.
Irish whiskey, natural aromatic herbs, natural dyes, honey.
