We present you a long-awaited novelty from the world of rums - Santos Dumont Heritage! Brazilian distillery Santos Dumont announced in early November that it was planning something big. Today, December 3, is officially out and we are proud that you can buy it from us.

The history of this brand begins at the end of the 19th century, when the Brazilian Alberto Santos Dumont and his father became significantly richer in the sale of coffee, which they grew on plantations. Later, they also started growing sugar cane, which was used to distill rum and cachaça. Alberto was a wealthy man who lived in Paris and was known as a patron, philanthropist and pioneer in aviation.

It is a truly ultra-premium blend that is made from two excellent and high-quality rums. Rums come from the US Virgin Islands and Central America. One of them was made from high-quality molasses and the other from fresh juice from pressed sugar cane. Most rum producers choose rum distilled from molasses or sugar cane juice. Santos Dumont decided to combine two types of rum and named the result Santos Dumont Heritage. Subsequently, they filled it into a beautiful square design carafe with a cork closure and wrapped it in a minimalist modern gift box with a brown-black texture.
Santos Dumont rums are generally sweet and delicate rums with hints of fruit, chocolate and exoticism. With Heritage, it's no different! The scent will surely pleasantly surprise you with tones of leather and apricots, which will then turn into tobacco and coconut. The taste is very pleasant and sweet with hints of apricots, coconut, demerar sugar, citrus, coffee and our Slovak goodness Margot. The finish is, of course, soft and full of tropical fruits, cocoa and tobacco.
