Hubert De Luxe Gold is produced using the pot (Asti) method, where fermentation is stopped in pressure tanks to preserve the natural sweetness and aroma of grape must from the Irsai Oliver, Muscat Ottonel and Moravian Muscat varieties.
The alcohol content is around 7 % by volume, with residual sugar coming exclusively from grapes – no artificial additives.
The wine enchants with its fresh yellow-gold colour and delicate but rich effervescence. The aroma is dominated by a distinctive muscat bouquet – notes of ripe grapes and flowers. The taste is sweet and persistent, with hints of pears, dried raisins and nutmeg in the background.
The Hubert brand dates back to 1825, when it became the first factory outside France to produce sparkling wine according to an original recipe. The Hubert family took over production in 1877, but the brand was later nationalised and re-established in Sereď as a private company in 1995. Hubert De Luxe was first introduced in the 1970s and was so well received on the market that large-scale production began after 1980. Today, it is an integral part of Slovak celebrations.
