House Stark & Dalwhinnie Winter's Frost - Game of Thrones Single Malts Collection Discontinued

Far to the north of Westeros lies the home of the Starks - Winterfell. The Starks were a noble family that ruled as kings in the north for generations. The Starks were proud, loyal, and true to those they swore allegiance to - first to the Targaryens and later to the Baratheons. The motto of House Stark was: "Winter is Coming." They took pride in their ability to survive harsh winters.

Like Winterfell, the Dalwhinnie distillery is also located in the north. It is one of the highest and coldest distilleries in Scotland. The extreme weather and sub-zero temperatures that the entire north, including the Dalwhinnie distillery, experiences every year is reflected in the fact that the whisky produced there is best served chilled and with ice to enhance its distinctive notes.

In the light of ex-bourbon casks, this light golden drink gently opens up to flavors of honeyed figs and delicious malt balls. Dalwhinnie Winter's Frost stays true to the flavor profile for which the distillery is known, not only because it survives the winter but also because it uses it to its advantage. Just like House Stark!
