Glen Breton Ice 10 years old
Canadian single malt whiskey from Glenora Distillery in Nova Scotia, which is bottled as Glen Breton. This bottle can proudly be proud to be the first whiskey to be made with ice wine. The used barrels of ice wine came from the Just Winery winery in Nova Scotia. She is extraordinary.
Smell: Really fascinating. Sticky caramel pudding, ginger-nut biscuits and a truly curious balanced delicious tone, something herbal, maybe even lemon grass?
Taste: Sweet, as expected, exactly the right side of satiety. Quite oily, with a strong tone of coal. It is rich in bourbon barrels and ice wine barrels, very light peat, pungent spices, ginger root in syrup, smoky ginger, cappuccino and apple wood.
Conclusion: Bitter heat and fine Kentucky smoke, nutmeg.
Overall: Simply incredible, literally unique, breathtaking!
