Paloma is an iconic Mexican long drink that has won the hearts of refreshing cocktail lovers all around the world. Its base is tequila and grapefruit soda, most often sparkling. Unlike the classic Margarita, the Paloma is smoother, less sour, yet still full of the characteristic agave flavor and the freshness of citrus.
Paloma is the perfect choice for hot summer days – light, refreshing, pleasantly bittersweet, and surprisingly addictive.
- Ice
- 40 ml tequila (ideally 100% agave, e.g., Patrón Blanco)
- top up with Thomas Henry Grapefruit
- a few drops of lime juice
- garnish with a slice of grapefruit or lime
Serve in a highball glass, optionally with a salted rim.
