Fruit distillates, also known as "liquid fruit," are the result of honest distillation of fruit mash. Unlike liqueurs or mixed spirits, they contain alcohol exclusively from fruit – without the addition of sugar, colorants, or aromas. This gives them a pure, natural, and authentic character.

How fruit distillate is made

The base is ripe fruit – plums, pears, apricots, cherries, or sour cherries – which is allowed to ferment naturally. The mash is then distilled, resulting in a strong, aromatic drink with the unique flavor of the respective fruit.
