Dewar's 12 Year Old

Dewar's 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky that features a "double aged" process - after an initial 12 years in oak casks, it undergoes an additional 6 months of post-blend maturation, which contributes to its smooth and harmonious character. This blend was created by former Master Blender - Tom Aitken as the first permanent product in Dewar's premium range.

The nose of this whisky is intoxicating, with notes of juicy fruit, heavy creamy malt, floral accents, toasted barley, almond and a hint of honey. The palate is balanced, with malted barley, hot buttered toast, honey and aniseed notes. The finish brings a touch of smoke along with lots of heavy malt and sweetness.
