Crystal Head Lunar Year of the Snake

The limited edition Crystal Head Lunar Year of the Snake was inspired by the arrival of the Chinese Lunar Year of the Snake. This time, the iconic skull-shaped bottle was dressed in red color and the image of a snake - a symbol of wisdom, intuition and transformation. The bottle is packaged in an unusual case made with holes cut out.

The snake is one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac and is considered a mysterious, profound and sophisticated sign. The Year of the Snake is a time that encourages thinking, planning and finding solutions. People are encouraged to use their reason and intuition to achieve goals.

The snake also symbolizes renewal, much like when a snake changes its skin. This year can be a time of great change and new beginnings, with transformation coming through introspection.

Inside, you'll find the internationally award-winning Crystal Head Vodka, which is made from the finest locally sourced Canadian corn. It is distilled 4 times to form a neutral grain alcohol and filtered 7 times, including three times through Herkimer diamonds. It is then blended with pristine Newfoundland water. The result is a silky smooth flavour with hints of citrus and creamy vanilla sweetness.

The bottle shape was designed in a creative spirit by two creative personalities. Behind it are the owners themselves, Dan Aykroyd (also known from Ghostbusters) and acclaimed artist John Alexander, who created its iconic skull-shaped bottle as a symbol of life, reflecting strength and enlightenment.
