Immerse yourself in the beautiful world of rum Coloma 8 Year Old Colombian Coffee Smoked Rum, a gem straight from the Andes mountains in Colombia. Imagine: a century-old colonial house, a family coffee plantation, and a brilliant idea to combine rum and coffee. It ages 8 years in American oak barrels, then reveals its smoothness in coffee liqueur barrels, where it captures the delicate aromas of roasting.
On the nose, it’s a blend of smoke, roasted coffee, and spices. On the palate, a velvety pleasure of smoky oak and coffee with a long-lasting smoky mocha finish. An experience to savor.
Before bottling, the rum is refined in 2 ways: an initial 2-month aging in barrels that previously held Hacienda coffee liqueur and
a second 4-week aging in barrels that were previously exposed to smoke from the coffee roasting process.
The history of Coloma rum is closely tied to the history of the Constain family. Although it was born recently thanks to Albert Constain Cenzano, it all started with his father Albert Constain Medina in 1959. That year, the young entrepreneur became the proud owner of the family country house built in the late 19th century in the town of Fusagasugá in the heart of Colombia.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 42% with a volume of 0.7 l and are delivered in stylish gift boxes.
