Carpathian KB
Carpathian Brandy is an iconic Slovak distillate with more than half a century of tradition, a symbol of quality and pride in local production. It comes from the wine factories in Pezinok and has earned respect both at home and abroad since the 1960s thanks to a consistent artisanal approach and unique flavor.
Carpathian Brandy is created through double distillation of quality wine in pot stills – the resulting clear wine spirit then travels into 300-liter barrels made from selected oak wood for several years of aging.
The barrels come from Slovakia, Slovenia, and France, giving the drink its characteristic aroma and color. The production process is followed with precision – the recipe and technology have remained unchanged for over 50 years.
Through aging in oak barrels, the brandy is enriched with notes of vanilla, dried fruits, nuts, and subtle woody undertones. It has a rich golden-amber color and a full, elegant taste that depends on the aging period – ranging from gently caramel to woody notes.
Carpathian Brandy dates back to 1968, when it was developed as a quality distillate for Hubert sparkling wine. The first barrels were filled in 1968, and a few years later, the decision was made to launch the brand independently – Special V.S.O.P. Since then, it has maintained its authenticity – the tradition has been passed down through generations of craftsmen, including Master Blender Peter Ďuriš, and the production process has been stable since the 1970s.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 40% with a volume of 0.7 l.
