Cargo Cult Navy Strength Rum Discontinued

Cargo Cult Navy Strength Rum is an authentic, uncompromising rum created for lovers of true rum strength. It is a 100% pot still rum aged 3–4 years in tropical bourbon barrels right in the South Pacific, where high temperatures and significant daily fluctuations greatly accelerate the aging process and concentration of flavors.

Bottled at the traditional navy strength of 54.5%, this rum offers an intense yet surprisingly well-balanced expression. No added sugar, no spices, no alterations – just pure distillate that showcases the character of molasses, wood, and tropical aging in its most honest form.

In both aroma and taste, deep notes of cocoa, caramelized sugar, toffee, and dark chocolate unfold, complemented by a subtle smokiness and a warming alcoholic finish. Despite its high strength, the rum remains surprisingly “easy drinking,” especially with a splash of water or ice.

Cargo Cult Navy Strength Rum is perfect for classic cocktails like Old Fashioned or Navy Grog, but also for slowly savoring neat rum for experienced enthusiasts. A rum that does not hide its strength – but proudly displays it.
