Cargo Cult Navy Strength Rum is an authentic, uncompromising rum created for lovers of true rum strength. It is a 100% pot still rum that has been aged for 3-4 years in tropical bourbon barrels right in the South Pacific, where high temperatures and large daily fluctuations significantly accelerate the maturation process and concentration of flavors.

Bottled at the traditional navy strength of 54.5%, this rum offers an intense yet surprisingly well-balanced expression. No added sugar, no spices, no adjustments – just a pure distillate that shows the character of molasses, wood and tropical maturation in its most honest form.

Deep notes of cocoa, caramelized sugar, toffee and dark chocolate develop in the aroma and taste, complemented by a subtle smokiness and a warm alcoholic finish. Despite its high strength, the rum remains surprisingly “easy drinking”, especially with a drop of water or ice.
