Description

The extraordinary Bathtub Double Infused Gin, an award winning gin made by the mysterious Professor Cornelius Ampleforth. It is made using the traditional method of cold stirring (or in layman's terms adding).

Ingredients including juniper, orange peel, coriander, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom are added to the very high quality spirit from the copper period still .

This gin is produced in ultra-small batches and the length of the blending period is governed only by regular sampling. The result is an extraordinary gin that is lightly coloured by the botanicals, and with a flavour that is distinctive and perfumed at the same time. It's sure to be a hit with amateur and professional bartenders alike.

The opening rich juniper bouquet is backed by a solid backbone of rich grain alcohol. Top notes of cardamom and orange blossom are evident with just a hint of cinnamon.

The juniper is strongest on the palate, but earthier botanicals are also evident in the opening flavours . The mouthfeel is exceptionally viscous and creamy. It's a good alcohol and makes its presence known.

Packaged in brown paper, with string and wax. This presentation evokes the image of a Victorian apothecary! The bottles are filled at 40,3 % alcohol with a volume of 0,7 l.

A very unusual, yet delightful gin. As far as we know, this is the only cold-blended gin currently available.

Jon Rye Wanted – Slovak whiskey that breaks with tradition
A new product has appeared on the Slovak market that is not afraid to go against the grain. Jon Rye Wanted is a brand new whiskey from Nicolaus that does not try to compete with Scottish or Irish legends with their history and myths. Instead of endless stories about pedigree and old barrels, it brings something bolder – a pure taste and a rebellious attitude. How did it actually come about? The…
