Rana XO Elixir

RANA XO Elixir is a carefully balanced Caribbean rum spirit, based on molasses distillates from the Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Trinidad, with a dominant share of Dominican origin.

The distillation takes place at Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos (AFD) in the Dominican Republic, where local cane is used. Other parts of the blend come from Venezuela (Sofa Distillery) - the cane here grows between the Andes Mountains, the Orinoco River basin and the Caribbean Sea - and Trinidad.

The base is 100% cologne distillate, which is aged for 3-5 years in bourbon barrels. This process gives it the softness, roundness and smooth taste typical of the Spanish style of Caribbean rum distillates. This style originated in former Spanish colonies after the abolition of the prohibition of rum production in the 18th century. Unlike heavier "English" rums, Spanish rums are more elegant, smoother and often distilled in column stills.

This approach is a combination of tradition, passion and artisanal precision - every drop of Rana is the result of a balance between local heritage and the modern art of rum production.

The flavor profile is built on a natural harmony of sweeter and woody tones without unnecessary sharpness.
The aroma is rich and tempting - a combination of vanilla, coconut, cocoa, oak and tobacco tones, which create a warm and elegant impression. The taste is harmonious and slightly sweet - dominated by vanilla, oak, roasted coconut, caramel and a pinch of spice. The taste is rounded, smooth and long, with a creamy undertone.

RANA XO Elixir is intended for slow enjoyment neat or on ice, but it also works well in premium mixed drinks, where it retains its character.
