Primitivo Salento IGT Donna Maria is a dry red wine made from the Primitivo grape, crafted by Cantore di Castelforte. This Primitivo does not undergo barrel aging. It is produced from 100% Primitivo grapes.
The wine is full of aromas and flavors, thanks to low-temperature production. It has an intense, enveloping, and balanced aroma.
Primitivo Salento IGT Donna Maria is an excellent choice for pairing with beef and pork, as well as aged cheeses. It is recommended to serve at a temperature of approximately 16-18 °C to fully express the wine's potential.
Color: dark garnet with a slight purplish hue
Aroma: medium intensity, dark gladiolus flower, sandalwood
Taste: intense, not overly complex, but harmonious, dried plums
