Primitivo Salento IGT Donna Maria is a dry red wine of the Primitivo variety, from the Cantore di Castelforte workshop. This primitivo knows no barrique. It is made from 100 % Primitivo grapes.
The wine is full of aromas and flavours, thanks to the low-heat production. It has an intense, enveloping and balanced aroma.
Primitivo Salento IGT Donna Maria is an excellent choice for beef, pork and aged cheeses. It is recommended to be served at a temperature of around 16-18 °C to bring out the wine's full potential.
Colour: dark garnet with a slight violet tinge
Nose: medium intensity, dark marigold blossom, sandalwood
Taste: intense, not too complex but harmonious, prunes
