Primitivo di Manduria D.O.C. Donna Maria
Primitivo di Manduria D.O.C. Donna Maria is a dry red wine from the vineyards of Cantore di Castelforte. They are located in the panorama of the town of Manduria, in the wine region of Puglia in Italy.
The vineyards cover a large area of up to 600 hectares and interestingly, all agricultural production is organic. The wine comes from the Primitivo variety from the old vineyard Alberello, which dates back to 1968.
The result is a robust wine with an intense red color, produced in limited quantities from late harvest. The particularly full body in the glass reveals purple hues and an aromatic bouquet of fruity aromas.
We recommend serving at a temperature of 14–16 °C. It pairs nicely with beef in spicy sauce or roasted wild duck with wine sauce.

Aroma: dried flowers, rose, sweet licorice, pine
Taste: sweetish, tannins, wood
Finish: pleasant, velvety, fresh fruit, plum, jam, blueberries
