Nichta

Nichta Winery is a family winery from the Malocarpathian wine region, specifically from the village of Čajkov pri Levice, which is known for its volcanic origin of the soil. It is this terroir that gives the wines a unique mineral character and distinct personality, thanks to which Nichta ranks among the most respected producers in Slovakia.

The history of the winery began in the 1990s, when the Nicht family decided to turn their passion for viticulture into a professional one. Today, they manage their own vineyards, where they grow traditional Slovak and international varieties. Their most famous wines include Pesecká Leánka, Riesling Rýnsky, Frankovka modrá or Alibernet, which regularly win awards at home and abroad.

Interestingly, the winery focuses on gentle grape processing and modern technologies, which they combine with respect for traditions. Nichta wines are characterized by purity, harmony and an authentic expression of the Čajkovské terroir.

The winery is also a popular destination for wine tourism - it offers tastings and the opportunity to get to know the wines directly in the environment where they are created.
