Marsen Jablkovica variety Gala

Marsen Jablkovica apple variety Gala belongs to an exclusive range of varietal spirits. It is a limited edition, the number of bottles filled is 750, vintage 2018.

Gala apples are characterised by their yellow, crisp, slightly sweet and aromatic flesh. The fruit is medium in size and has a nicely coloured bright red skin with yellow marbling. Native to New Zealand.

The distillate was distilled in the Marcel distillery. The bottles were filled at 42,3 % alcohol.

The cider smells of grated apple with subtle notes of cinnamon and compote. It is excellent as an aperitif, but also suits beef dishes.

We recommend serving it chilled to 16-18 °C.
