Lazy Dodo is a premium rum crafted on the island of Mauritius, on a plantation in the Pamplemousses district. The brand is produced by Grays Distillery at the New Grove Rum Estate, building on over 175 years of sugarcane growing and distilling tradition. The rum is 100% “Made in Moris” and celebrates the island’s heritage – the dodo bird, a national symbol of Mauritius.

Traditional craftsmanship with a modern touch

The production begins with fermentation of high-quality cane molasses, followed by column distillation reaching up to 94% esters – a hallmark of classic Mauritian rum-making. The blend combines rums aged 3 to 10 years in French and American oak barrels. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at 40% ABV, preserving its natural aroma and full-bodied flavor.
