Lazy Dodo – rum from the island of Mauritius

Lazy Dodo is a premium rum produced on the island of Mauritius, on a plantation in the Pamplemousses district. The brand is created by Grays at the New Grove distillery and follows a tradition of over 175 years of sugarcane cultivation and processing. The rum is 100% “Made in Moris” and celebrates the local heritage – the dodo bird, a symbol of the island.

Traditional production with a modern touch

The production begins with the fermentation of high-quality sugarcane molasses, followed by distillation in column stills to a purity of up to 94% esters – a classic approach for Mauritian rums. The blend consists of rums aged 3 to 10 years in barrels made of French and American oak. The rum is not cold-filtered and is bottled at 40% alcohol, preserving its full flavor and aroma.
