Kilbeggan Small Batch Rye is a limited edition from the Kilbeggan distillery. It is one of the few whiskeys in the world that is distilled and aged on-site! It consists of malt, barley, and approximately 30% rye. It represents the style of Irish whiskey that was popular in the late 18th century.
Aroma: smooth and delicate aroma with nutty notes - especially hazelnuts. Hints of barley, grain sweetness, and peat come to the forefront.
Taste: well-built body with honey sweetness and malt.
Finish: short, with traces of dry oak wood.
