Jameson Caskmates is a unique whiskey that was made with the help of the Franciscan brewery in the town of Well. The barrels that were previously used for Jameson were transported to the brewery in Well. There, they aged Franciscan stout. After one use for beer aging, they were sent back to the distillery, where Jameson whiskey, which had already been aging for some time, was re-filled into the barrels for finishing.
Aroma: sharp, with notes of orchard fruits like green apples and pears, a slight hint of spice
Taste: Subtle touch of hops and cocoa beans, marzipan, and charred oak
Finish: Long and sweet with milk chocolate and caramel
