To produce whiskey, quality water is essential, which is why when establishing the Jack Daniels distillery, he purchased the water source Cave Spring Hollow – a cave and its surroundings that are a rare natural source of crystal-clear spring water. The layers of cave limestone naturally impart various minerals to the water, contributing to its unique character.
