J&J Ostrožovič Tokaj 5-putňový
Excellent and acclaimed yellow sweet wine J&J Ostrožovič Tokajský výber 5 putňový, vintage 2007, is a typical Tokaji with a pronounced taste and aroma. It has a classic bread-like note. The flavor further blends tones of dark coffee and bitter chocolate. The aroma of roses joins in, and the overall enjoyment of this delicious drink is completed by a typical honeyed finish.
Tokajský výber 5-putňový is made from grapes affected by edelfaule, also known as "grey mold." This fungal infection creates ideal conditions for the production of concentrated sweet wines. Ripe grapes are selectively harvested berry by berry, ensuring that only the best goes into the wine.
The wine is called "5-putňové" because it is made from grapes that were harvested in five different stages of ripeness. Each stage adds specific aromas and flavor characteristics to the wine. Gradually, grapes are harvested with varying levels of ripeness and mold, leading to a delicate and complex fusion of different elements.
The natural residual sugar is 131 g/l. The bottle has a volume of 0.5l.
