Origin of the variety and berry characteristics

Grüner Veltliner has its historical origin mainly in Austria, where it is considered a national variety. However, it also thrives in Slovakia and Moravia. The berries of the variety are medium-sized, green-yellow, with a thinner skin and higher juice content. In warmer years, they acquire a slightly golden-yellow hue.

What does Grüner Veltliner taste like?
