Fruit distillates, also known as “liquid fruit,” are the result of honest distillation of fermented fruit mash. Unlike liqueurs or blended spirits, they contain alcohol derived exclusively from fruit – without added sugar, coloring, or flavorings. This gives them their pure, natural, and authentic character.

How fruit distillates are made

The foundation is ripe fruit – plums, pears, apricots, cherries, or sour cherries – which is naturally fermented. The mash is then distilled to create a strong, aromatic drink with the unique flavor of the fruit used. The final aroma, smoothness, and finish depend on the fruit quality, distillation method, and aging time.

Different types for different tastes

Our selection includes traditional Slivovica, delicate Hruskovica (pear distillate), aromatic Marhulovica (apricot distillate), as well as less common fruit distillates made from unusual fruits – from raspberries to rowan berries. Each has its own character, from sweet fruity tones to dry, spicy finishes.

How to enjoy them

Fruit distillates are best enjoyed at room temperature in a small tasting glass. These are drinks meant for slow sipping – to appreciate the purity and aroma that only real fruit can provide.
