El Pasador de Oro XO
El Pasador de Oro XO is an elegant Guatemalan rum made exclusively from molasses and a blend of distillates aged 6 to 15 years.
After initial aging in Guatemala, it undergoes final aging for approximately 6 months in ex-cognac barrels in the town of Charente, in the cellars of Les Bienheureux in France. This detailed process gives the rum a unique French elegance and deep flavor structure.
The color is rich, amber, with no artificial additives. The aroma opens with a delicate profile – you can smell cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa, exotic fruits, and raisins.
The taste is complexly sweet, but not overly so – orange marmalade, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, tobacco, and chocolate dominate.
Further analysis of the profile confirms the presence of nut and apricot tones with a velvety mouthfeel. The neutral sweetness and balance of vanilla and caramel make this rum a pleasant dessert spirit, perfect for slow sipping.
