El Pasador de Oro XO
El Pasador de Oro XO is an elegant Guatemalan rum, created exclusively from molasses and a blend of spirits aged 6 to 15 years.
After initial aging in Guatemala, it undergoes final aging for approximately 6 months in ex-cognac barrels, in the town of Charente, in the cellars of Les Bienheureux in France. This detailed process imparts a unique French elegance and deep flavor structure to the rum.
The color is rich, amber, without artificial additives. The aroma opens with a delicate profile – notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa, exotic fruits, and raisins.
The taste is complexly sweet, but not overly so – dominated by orange marmalade, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, tobacco, and chocolate.
Further analysis of the profile confirms the presence of notes of nuts and apricots with a velvety mouthfeel. The neutrality of sweetness and the balance of vanilla and caramel make this rum a pleasant dessert spirit, suitable for slow sipping.
