Delamain XXO
Delamain XXO is a cognac blend exclusively from the Grande Champagne region, classified as Premier Cru from Cognac, which is at the very top of the quality hierarchy of the 6 terroirs of Cognac.
This cognac, with the youngest blends being at least 14 years old, has benefited from long aging in the symbolic La Maison Delamain cellar, which provides ideal conditions for aging eaux-de-vie in oak barrels and achieving exceptional maturity and quality.
Delamain XXO stands out for its complexity and richness, which expands the senses; it is an invitation to an extraordinary sensory journey.
In the aroma, notes of autumn fruits such as figs, almonds, and walnuts are prominent, accompanied by the sweet bitterness of spices like cloves and cardamom.
On the palate, there are very pleasant sensations of light Virginia tobacco or from a cigarette box, supple leather, which pleasantly extend to the finish.
The year 1759 is the date when James Delamain, a native of Ireland, joined forces with his father-in-law Jean-Isaac Ranson, the owner of an old export house whose origins date back to the very beginnings of cognac, and they founded the James Delamain House. The house is still run by the descendants of James Delamain.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 40% with a volume of 0.7 l and are delivered in premium gift boxes.
