The Cointreau brand gained popularity shortly before World War II, thanks to its distinction from all other triple distilled orange liqueurs (then known as triple sec). Although the company is young, their recipe is much older and dates back to ancient history. Currently, over 13 million bottles of liqueur are sold annually in more than 150 countries.
