Have you ever drank that she had even more rye in her while drinking Bulleit Bourbon? So you're in luck, now they're making their own rye whiskey! Bulleit Rye is produced in series, 95 percent rye and 5 percent malted barley. This absolutely magnificent rye whiskey won a double gold medal in 2013 at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Aroma: Lots of cherries and vanilla, with subtle hints of leather and tobacco.
Taste: At first quite spicy, because in the beginning the spice comes to the fore. Then come the peaches, more cherries, and a small piece of orange peel.
Conclusion: The smoky ending brought by cinnamon, new spices and a hint of sweets.
Overall impression: Distillery Bulleit really knows about rye whiskey.
