Borovička Exclusive Slovak Gin
The unique Borovička Exclusive Slovak Gin combines Slovak tradition with modern design trends.
Slovak Borovička is known worldwide as gin. Its history dates back to the mid-19th century, when the first mentions of Slovaks distilling juniper appeared. They produced alcohol from juniper according to their own taste or even varying strengths.
Later, this drink began to be produced on a larger scale. In 1933, the First Juniper Factory in the city of Trenčín started producing its own juniper drink called Juniperus.
The tradition of the company Fine Destillery Slovakia dates back to 1995, when a small family distillery was established. Based on experience with traditional distillation, the founders decided to create their own line of spirits, including Borovička, to represent our country worldwide.
After approximately one year of aging in stainless steel tanks, the alcohol is diluted to a final volume concentration of 40% and is cold filtered. Handling of the alcohol is very careful to preserve the most pronounced aroma and flavor before bottling.
Borovička is produced in small batches of about 2000 bottles, making it exceptional and unique. The product is hand-filled into high-quality French bottles and sealed with original Italian corks. Finally, the bottles are hand-packaged to prevent damage.
The attractive 0.7 l bottle features an original and modern design that represents the highest quality and natural character of this product from Slovakia. The bottles are delivered in gift cartons.
Unlike other Slovak Borovičky, this one has pleasant, sweet tones with a balanced scent of pine needles. By using a unique composition of distillate from juniper and extra fine alcohol, a very pleasant and balanced taste has been achieved.
