Boë Gin is characterized by a rare balance of herbal and spicy flavors. Juniper berries and their delicate oils form its base, complemented by aromatic coriander, angelica, ginger, orris root, and cassia bark - Chinese cinnamon, orange and lemon peel, sweet licorice, cardamom, almonds, and spicy Chinese spice litsea cubeba. The taste of this gin is surprisingly clean, spicy, and refreshing.
Purifies the blood of impurities
The drink is named after Franz de la Boë, who "created gin as a remedy for a third of all diseases." It was the recipe of Professor Franz de la Boë from 1658 that inspired Boë Superior Gin, which is now produced in the historic center of the Scottish village of Doune. The foundation of the secret recipe is a blend of thirteen carefully selected and measured herbs, including the rare Wild Cassia bark from the Scottish Isle of Skye and the spice litsea cubeba, which is known in the Far East as an effective aphrodisiac. According to the famous Professor de la Boë, this gin is not a classic drink, but primarily a medicine that "purifies the blood of all impurities."
