Bladnoch Liora
Bladnoch Liora is a single malt whisky produced at the Bladnoch distillery in southern Scotland. Bladnoch is one of the oldest distilleries in the Lowlands and is renowned for its quality whiskies.
The latest addition to the classic Bladnoch collection. Bladnoch Liora whisky is matured in both ex-bourbon casks and new oak casks to showcase a combination of fresh sliced apples, roasted caramel, spice and fresh oak.
The name "Liora" is a Hebrew word that means "light for the city". The name was chosen as a tribute to the distillery's new owner, David Prior, who is also the owner of Lightsource BP.
The bottles are bottled at 52,2 % with a 0,7 l capacity and come in gift boxes.
Colour: brown with gold highlights
Nose: freshly cut apples, roasted caramel, floral notes
Taste: caramelised apples, spices, fresh cut oak
Finish: long, slightly dry and warming
